Poem for Minato

Death by death, day  by day.
A bit ironic if you look at it this way:

That he should die so others may live
and yet they all go on unappreciative

Death incarante saved them from the Fall
leading humanity through the squall

Here he now rests forever in the arms of a mechanical girl
Finally accepting her humanity and now her emotions are in a whirl

His companions look on in shock
another friend has hit the chopping block

Their best friend and fearless leader gone for good
tears well up from the hardships withstood

"This is not goodbye. I'll always be by your side.
It's thanks to you I was able to decide."

"So long my friend. Goodbye, my love.
I know you're looking down from above."

"Farewell, leader, brave and true.
Goodbyes are hard. We will miss you."
